Suicide or Murder? Dr Maha’s autopsy report released
KARACHI: The post-mortem report of female doctor Maha found that the bullet was fired at her from a close range.
According to the reports, Dr. Maha allegedly shot herself two days ago in Defense Phase Four area of Karachi. According to the initial post-mortem report of Dr. Maha, she fired from a 9mm pistol at close range, the magazine had three bullets, one of which went off.
According to police, the weapons were taken into custody, there were more bullets in the gun. Weapons magazine, the pistol and shell were sent for forensics while the family refused to take legal action.
Police said that before committing suicide, Maha had a bitter argument with her family. The female doctor had shifted to this house with her father and sisters fifteen days ago. She was unmarried and belonged to Mirpur Khas.
According to sources, Maha Ali, daughter of Gaddi Nasheen of Garoor Sharif, was buried in the local cemetery near Mirpur Khas.
It may be recalled that Dr Maha had allegedly committed suicide by shooting herself two days ago. Karachi police is investigating the matter and it is being speculated that important revelations in this regard will come to light soon.
