Rawalpindi: Evidence of involvement of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), an Indian intelligence agency, in Rawalpindi bomb blast has been found.

According to reports, clues from Rawalpindi blast lead the investigation to India and agencies, including the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), are conducting further investigations.

According to Express News, RAW was involved in the Rawalpindi Saddar Bazaar bombing, from which investigative agencies have also found evidence.

As per the preliminary investigation, explosives were used along with improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in the blast. The blast killed one person and damaged property worth millions, however, it is being further investigated.

It may be recalled that a bomb had exploded in Saddar area of ​​Rawalpindi on Friday killing one person and injuring 15 others. As soon as the blast was reported, security forces cordoned off the area and rescue teams arrived on time. They shifted the injured to the hospital while the bodies of the deceased was also shifted to the hospital.

According to rescue sources, the explosives were planted in a motorcycle while some sources said that the explosives were planted in a nearby electric pole. Police and security agencies have launched an investigation into the incident.
