Tandav controversial scene removed by Amazon Prime

Tandav makers have removed the controversial scene from the Amazon Prime web series. On Tuesday (December 19), after their second meeting with officials of Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tandav makers had decided to drop the controversial scene from the web series. Now, this scene has been removed from the web show.

The Indian ministry had received a number of complaints against Tandav for its depiction of Hindu Gods in the show. Three FIRs have been registered against the makers of the series in three different cities, these include Lucknow, Mumbai and Greater Noida. The show, a political drama, has been drawing flak on social media and is accused of hurting religious sentiments.
