Lahore, 18th June: Late Tariq Aziz, a legend who was an asset for Pakistan passed away yesterday at the age of 84.

Tariq Aziz was an all-round personlity, who acted in movie, did radio and TV programs. His popular game show Neelam Ghar started in 1974 and ran for four decades. It was later renamed the Tariq Aziz Show.

Tariq Aziz had expressed his fondness for Pakistan’s famous anchor Mubasher Lucman during one of his interviews.

Tariq Aziz said in an interview that he stays awake waiting for the show ‘Khara Sach’ by Mubasher Lucman.

All famous personalities, showbiz artists, politicians, and Pakistani fans are mourning the death of a great personality, and expressing their grief on social media.

One such video has been shared by Mubasher Lucman on his Instagram account in respect of Tariq Aziz which shows an interview of him for a private channel.

In this video, Tariq Aziz is seen saying that he stays awake to watch the show of senior anchor person Mubasar Lucman.

During this interview, Tariq Aziz, while talking about working on PTV said that when we worked for the channel we could never think of criticizing tha governmnet but now the media has all the liberty to point at any one, be it the governmnet or the prime minister.

Tariq Aziz praised Mubasher Lucman as an anchor and his ability to talk truth through his program.
