Term of COAS Extended for 3 Years
General Qamar Javed Bajwa will remain the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) for the next three years.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s term has been extended for three years by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.
A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office has been issued in this regard stating that the Prime Minister made this decision in continuation of ongoing peace efforts in the region.
