April 13, 2021: According to a report by Baaghi TV, security forces have launched an operation in Ladha area of South Waziristan.
According to DG ISPR, an exchange of fire took place during the operation which resulted in the death of terrorist Pir alias Asad. The terrorist was an active member of the banned TTP since 2006. Mehsud was from the group, According to DG ISPR, Pir alias Asad was involved in terrorist activities against the security forces. After the death of Hakimullah Mehsud, Pir alias Asad Shehryar Mehsud joined the group.
