The Covid-19 cases in India crossed the 32 lakh-mark. According to the Union health ministry’s bulletin on Tuesday, India had a total of 31,67,323 Covid-19 cases. However, since states reported new cases through the day, the country’s cumulative figure crossed the 32 lakh-mark. Doses of the potential coronavirus vaccine developed by researchers at Oxford University arrived in Pune for Phase-2 clinical human trials on Tuesday. Phase 2 human trials of Oxford vaccine are expected to start in Pune today. Meanwhile, the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) and the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) will be conducted in September as scheduled, the National Testing Agency said on Tuesday, amid a growing chorus for postponing the crucial tests in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.
