Karachi: The Emergency Response Center has been fully activated at the PIA Head Office.

According to sources, heads and representatives of all PIA departments are present in the control center under an integrated system. It is also learned that CEO PIA Air Marshal Arshad Malik himself is leading the emergency reception center.

A PIA spokesperson said that PIA was trying its best to provide all possible information to the passengers and the families of the crew, adding that the PIA Family Support Team was in touch with the families of the passengers.
