The President and the Army Chief grieved over the death of senior PTI Leader

Baaghi TV, 16th Feb 2020: President Arif Alvi and the Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa have expressed their grief over the death of Naeem Ul Haq, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif and other people including Amir Jamaat-e-Islami, Senator Siraj ul Haq expressed deep sorrow and regret over his death.

President Arif Alvi said in a statement on social media that, “Naeem ul Haq, my close friend was a great Pakistani and a founding member of PTI”.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS ) expressed grief on the sad demise of Mr Naeem ul Haque Special Assistant to the Prime Minister.

He stated: “May Allah bless the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family, Aamen”, COAS.

It may be recalled that Naeem-ul-Haq, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, yesterday passed away at the age of 70 after battling with cancer.

He was born in Karachi on July 11, 1949. Naeem-ul-Haq was a businessman and founded PTI with PM Imran Khan in 1996.

His funeral will be held today at the Asr time in Karachi, in Masjid e Ayesha Khayaban e Ittehad, Defence Phase 4.
