The real reason behind Regé-Jean Page not returning for Bridgerton season 2 is Racism

On Apr 2, Netflix’s most watched season Bridgerton announced on social media that they are bidding farwell to Regé-Jean Page and he won’t be seen in season 2.

According to the announcement, the reason of this step was that the series will now focus on finding Lord Anthony’s Viscountess.

But as the news keeps pouring in, it has now revealed that Regé-Jean Page wasnt casted for season 2 because of his skin color. DC Comics Chairman Geoff Johns has come under the fire for being a racist. previously, John has been abusive to people because of their race.

Another source tells that Regé-Jean Page was already aware of this situation or he might have been facing it in the making of season 1 due to which he himself quit the series for further season.

Regé-Jean Page has still not confirmed the real reason but did thank his disappointed fans for all the love he has received on the news of him not being on the show anymore.

He shared the bridgerton’s tweet saying it was an honour for him to be a part of the series. The love he has received is real and he is hopeful that it will keep growing.
