Lahore, 20th May: Pakistan’s renowned anchor Mubasher Lucman informs his fans today through his video that it is shameful that no result has come out of any big case.
He quoted a saying by Hazrat Ali that a state can run by ‘Kuffar’ but not by oppression and cruelty.
It is hopeless when we see that cases like Sugar scandal, IPP’s corruption, Flour shortage, Sharjeel Menon, Uzair Baloch, Dr. Asim, Ramin Davis, inspector Ejaz Murder case, the model Ayan Ali case, Baldia Town case, Model Town Murder case, Ahad Cheema and so many more which should have been solved by now and set as an example, but the result is zero.

A no result orientation on important cases that could have served as a deterrent if properly decided has encouraged the corrupt mafia. Now they are operating with ease as they do not fear and believe they are above the law. It’s worth mentioning here the cases which have been decided that the culprits are at loose and given relief may it be the conviction of Nawaz Sharif, Capt Safdar, Maryam Nawaz, or Shabaz Sharif.
Lucman stresses that justice should be prevailed and sooner. Please note late justice is no justice the process has to be swift and transparent so people have faith in the system and respect the verdicts.
American justice system proved its strength in a murder case, Carla, serving her death sentence by her righteous behavior. She started preaching during her tenure in jail waiting for the execution. The media, the public so much so the religious stalworth like Pope John Paul asked for forgiving Carla and abolishing her death sentence.

CNN’s famous host King Larry interviewed Carla before execution and general public sentiments were that she is innocent and should be freed. Masses gathered to protest in front of the Texas governor office and Governor Geroge Bush declined the demand by saying that he is there to administer the fulfillment of orders rather than giving relief to criminal. Two days before the execution the judge of the supreme court dismissed the petition filed for release of Carla by mentioning the fact that a killer of two innocent can not be released no matter how pious or holy she may be considered.
Lucman adds that society works on the bases of equality and justice, there should be no one above the law. The public is aware and enlighted in Pakistan and now we will have to set the examples so that no one thinks about corruption.
The consequences should be so severe that culprits should fret it. Let’s keep our hopes in the system and believe that justice will prevail in times to come and we will rise above the circumstances.
