Lahore, 18th September: A team of 35 players have been announced for the Asia Cup Hockey Tournament.

According to reports, Pakistan training camp will start from September 22 at Army Physical Fitness School, Abbottabad.

The Asia Cup will be played in Dhaka from January 21 to 30 next year.

COAS Bajwa to facilitate the Hockey Federation

According to sources, Olympian Danish Kaleem will be the head coach and Rana Zaheer Ahmad Babar Muhammad Imran, Mudassar Ali Khan and Zahid Afzal will be the assistant coaches.
Muhammad Abid Amin will be the physical trainer and Abu Zarmar will be the video analyst. Seven goalkeepers will be trained in Lahore under the supervision of Khawaja Muhammad Junaid and Nasir Ahmed.
According to Pakistan Hockey Federation, full-backs: Arbaaz Ahmed, Samiullah Khan, Usman Bashir, Muhammad Usman, Rehan Butt, Ehtesham Aslam, Moin Shakeel, Aqeel Ahmed, Rizwan Ali, Osama, Asif Hanif, Mohibullah, Mohammad Abdullah, Hasnain Babar, Qaiser, Abdul Basit are included in forwarding.
Roman Khan, Ghazanfar Ali, Hammad Anjum, Mohsin Khan, Zain Ejaz, Ali Aziz, Adeel Taif, Murtaza Yaqub, Mohammad Fahad, Afraz, Abdul Manan, Umair Sattar, Arshad Liaqat, Waqar Ali, Rana Waheed, Muhammad Bilawal, Taqi Al Hassan, Shazib Khan, Hamad Ayaz are also included.
Goalkeepers trained in Lahore include Waqar Younis, Abdullah Ishtiaq, Akmal Hussain, Noman, Amjad Ali, Muneeb-ur-Rehman and Sheikh Abdullah.
