Various issues including Pak-US relations were discussed. Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, the Governor of Punjab said, “Pak-US relations are getting stronger with each passing day.” “The role of the United States in the economic development and prosperity of Pakistan is commendable.”
He said, “Peace in the region will only happen with an end to atrocities in Kashmir and a solution to the Kashmir issue.” He also added, “Pakistan has made the most sacrifices to eradicate terrorism.”
He further added, “New special economic zones are also being set up in Punjab for foreign investors and all facilities including security are being provided to them.” “During the Corona crisis, the government has given full relief to the people.” He also emphasized the Pakistan’s commendable role in the war on terror.
The US Consul General, Katherine Rodriguez said, “The United States stands with Pakistan for development in education and health.”
