The number of children to have died in June has now hit 36, whereas in the current year 348 children have died of poverty and infectious disease. HUM News reporter from Tharparkar, Muhammad Hanif, said that according to the sources of the Department of Health, that the deaths of children due to hunger and infectious disease continues. In the 18 days so far of the ongoing month, the number of deaths has reached 36 while 35 are under treatment at Civil Hospital, Mithi, Tharparkar.
According to Department of Health sources, in the ongoing year, 77 in January, 66 in February, 37 in March, 59 in April, and 63 children lost their lives in May.
