Karachi: The Civil Aviation Authority has launched an anti-corona spray campaign at the crash site.
The Jinnah Garden plane crash site has been completely sanitized.
At the direction of the airport manager, the Civil Aviation Authority teams sprayed the affected houses and sides around the crash site. The accident site was completely disinfected with a special spray.
In this regard, the airport administration says that the spray campaign will continue on a daily basis. The entire area has been disinfected after the wreckage of the wrecked plane was lifted at the crash site and the survey was completed.
It may be recalled that the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) passenger plane A320 Airbus coming from Lahore to Karachi had crashed in a residential area near Jinnah International Airport Karachi. As a result, 97 people were killed.
The tragic incident took place on May 22, 2020 at around 3 pm in Jinnah Garden area of Model Colony. Where the plane landed on residential houses.
