Lahore, 29th June: Timely reporting by Baaghi TV proved effective and helpful for distressed Agriculture consumers.
The Prime Minister and the concerned government authorities took immediate notice of the unethical business action by Millat Tractors.
The largest tractor manufacturing company of Pakistan had exploited the position and unilaterally announced the price increase on all its range even for the bookings which are 100% paid.
After the intervention, Millat Tractors on Tuesday issued another circular to its main dealer in which they informed that the company has withdrawn its price revision and previous prices shall prevail till further information.

We thank the company management and government officials who looked into the matter and resolved the issue in the best interest of consumers and the market.
But one thing is highlighted that consumer in Pakistan needs protection. There are no rules on how a company can charge 100% in advance and then demand increase the price and do not confirm any delivery date.
For the moment the farmers can rest and rejoice but we fear the price increase lurks round the corner.
The first attempt has been safeguarded but the consumers have to stand for their rights and ensure that no one can exploit the market.
