Trains should be allowed to run till Monday: Sheikh Rasheed

Lahore, 16th May: According to the report of Baaghi TV, Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that planes and buses have been allowed to operate, however, the railways have not been allowed to run.

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed in a media briefing after the weekly meeting in Lahore said that trains should be allowed to run till Monday, otherwise the rush will not be controlled. He informed so far worth Rs 24 crore tickets online have been purchased. If the permission is not granted than Rs 24 crore amount will have to return to the people.

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed further said that SOPs have been set up for train travel. If it is not announced soon, trains will not be able to run on Eid. If permission is granted till Tuesday, trains will run on a 24-hour notice. If trains do not run, Eid Tickets will be refunded after 15 days.

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed further said that NAB will sweep after Eid, there will be arrests on both sides after Eid.

Lockdown is a lock-up program for Shahbaz Sharif and that the NAB will not support amendment in the law.
