Public transport to open from Monday: Fayyaz-ul-Hassan

According to the report of Baaghi TV, Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan has said that the Buzdar government has decided to open the auto industry and shopping malls in Punjab from Monday.

Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan said that it has been decided to open public transport between the cities with fixed SOPs. The Punjab government has decided to ease the lockdown under public convenience. Curfews and lockdowns add to the hardships of ordinary people.

Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan further said that the people can carry out their day to day affairs by following the government SOPs. Prevention from the coronavirus is possible only by following the prevailing rules of social distancing.

The overall implementation of government SOPs in Punjab is welcome. It is hoped that the people will benefit from the easing of the lockdown by proving their responsibility.

It is to be noted that the transport service was shut down across the country including Punjab due to the corona lockdown. The transport service will be restored by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on the assurance of implementation of SOPs by the transporters.

A report was submitted to the Punjab Chief Minister that due to the closure of transport, the problems of the common man have increased and have to use expensive private transport. Therefore, permission should be given to open public transport. It has been decided to allow open transport within the country.
