Trump is a ‘narcissist and a lying’ person: Mary Trump reveals
8th July: Donald Trump’s niece says that he is a ‘narcissist, lying’ person, she said that his father was a domineering man, in her memoir on the US President.
The White House immediately responded, describing Mary Trump’s “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man” as “a book of falsehoods.”
Even though the memoir is not published as yet, it is a bestseller on Amazon. It is said to release on 14th July 2020, but as for now, it is going through a legal battle on publication.
Judge temporarily blocks publication of tell-all book by Mary Trump
Mary Trump, a clinical psychologist, claims that Trump sees ‘cheating’ as a way of life according to the New York Times and accuses Trump of “hubris and willful ignorance.”
She also spoke about how Trump asked someone else to give his SAT exam in order to get into the prestigious Wharton business school of the University of Pennsylvania. However, it is unclear where and how she got this information.
“The absurd SAT allegation is completely false,” said deputy White House press secretary Sarah Matthews.
Trump’s brother takes legal action against tell-all book
Matthews said in response that Trump said his father was very loving and not abusive at all.
On the other hand, her memoir is called the first unflattering portrayal of Trump by a family insider.
Robert Trump, Donald’s younger brother, tried to block publication, claiming that Mary was violating a non-disclosure agreement signed in 2001 after the settlement of her grandfather’s estate.
A new York’s appeals judge ruled last week that Simon & Schuster is allowed to release the memoir, claiming that it was ‘not a party to the agreement.’
Mary is the daughter of the president’s older brother, Fred Trump Jr, who died in1981from complications related to alcoholism.
Trump’s niece to make explosive revelations against uncle
Mary writes that her uncle fits all the criteria of being a narcissist, according to the New York Times.
Matthews commented, ‘ Mary Trump and her book’s publisher may claim to be acting in the public interest, but this book is clearly in the author’s own financial self-interest.’
The book was released last month and is supposed to be the lastest blow to dish dirt on Trump after former aide John Bolton’s tome. It describes the Republican leader as corrupt and incompetent.
However, Trump claims that the book is ‘fiction.’
