Turkey releases a song in solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiri people
For the first time in Turkey, a song was released in solidarity with the victims of Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.
The song, titled “Kashmir is my name”, has been released in English worldwide, with a video showing Indian atrocities and Kashmiris begging for freedom, and the song is going viral on social media.
Keşmir, onlarca adımızdan biri.
Kudüs gibi, Saraybosna, Arakan, Halep gibi.
Mazlumların şarkılarını en iyi biz biliriz. #Keşmir‘in şarkıları ölümden, katliamdan bahsediyor.
Bu şarkılar duyulsun ve sözleri değişsin diye…

The song was written and composed by Turkish singer-songwriter Turgay Evren, and was sung by the well-known American singer Della Miles, who recently converted to Islam.
The song is being shared rapidly on social media and the Turkish musician is being praised for raising his voice for the oppressed Kashmiri people and everyone is being thanked.
Soon after the song was released, Kashmiris across the globe wrote messages of love, happiness and solidarity with producers and Turkey.
The song released by Babuscu and Evren is apparently first by any non-Kashmiri or non-Pakistani to pay regards to Kashmir struggle.
