Turkish Airlines to resume flights to/from Pakistan

Turkish Airlines announces the resumption of flights to/from Pakistan with 50% reduction in capacity effective July 01, 2020.
Originally planned daily nonstop services to Karachi (KHI), Lahore (LHE) and Islamabad (ISB) will now operate only 4 times per week using an A330 exclusively on all services.
According to the flight plan of Turkish Airlines, flights will be operated until the end of June.
“We are happy to offer you flexible travel opportunities as we know how difficult it is to plan in this period. You can change your tickets purchased until 20 June 2020 for another flight until 31 December 2021 or you can change your ticket into an open ticket to determine the date later,” as per the airline management.
International Flight Operations Resumed
Earlier this week, a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) notification said that all chartered flights to/from the country will be allowed to operate via international airports in Pakistan. CAA will announce the timings during which flight operations will be allowed. However, the suspension at Gwadar and Turbat airports will continue.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) air carrier, Emirates Airlines, also resumed its scheduled passenger flights from Pakistan to Dubai from Monday, June 8.
The Dubai-based world’s largest international carrier will resume 14 scheduled flights to Dubai, including those from Karachi, five from Lahore and two from Islamabad, from June 8, the airlines said in a statement on Thursday.
