Turkish F-16 shot down an Armenian fighter jet
Lahore, 29th September: A Turkish F-16 fighter jet shot down an Armenian jet this morning.
According to reports, Armenian Ministry of Defense says a Turkish F-16 from Ganja airbase shot down an Armenian Su-25 fighter jet this morning.
Armenian Ministry of Defence confirmed that as a result of the attack, the pilot of the fighter jet has died.
The Turkish F-16 was operating out of an Azerbaijani airbasе.

Reportedly, this is the first direct confrontation between Armenia and Turkey, and also a dramatic escalation between the two regions.
Earlier, Armenia’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) once again accused Turkey of meddling in the ongoing war between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Speaking to the Arab News Agency, Armenian Ambassador to the UAE Mehir Makardomian said that Azerbaijan has the open support of Turkey in the war against Armenia.
He said the war between Baku and Yerevan was ongoing and no one had mediated between the two countries. He said the attack was carried out by Azerbaijan and was responsible for its consequences.
