Our demand is that this person has been found guilty of insulting the Companions and he should be punished severely immediately. If no legal action is taken against such a stinking person, then the government will be responsible for the situation. pic.twitter.com/M4LRGu4t01— Mahmood۔khatana•jUi•313 (@Mahmood_jui_313) April 12, 2021

Admitting his mistake, Iqbal further clarified, “Last night in the episode of my show ‘Khabardar’, we made a silly mistake and how this example has been quoted here, it would not have happened anyway, referring to the battle of Uhud. But I apologize. It is unthinkable to insult the glory of the Companions or to say such a sarcastic thing.”
Baaghi TV has reported a while back that, in view of the grievances and demands of people on social media, the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has issued a notice to the Express-News TV channel.
According to the press release, PEMRA has issued the notice to Express-News for airing irresponsible words in its program, ‘Khabardar’, which was aired on April 11th, 2021, ordering the channel to be held accountable within 7 days.
