Two missionaries released in Haiti after group kidnapping
Haiti: According to a statement by the US-based Christian Aid Ministries, Two missionaries who were kidnapped over a month ago have been set free.
The organization reported that they had learned that two of the hostages in Haiti were released and that they offer praise to God for this. Unfortunately, they can only provide limited information.
15 people are still being held hostage in Haiti. The hostages included 16 Americans and one Canadian who were captured by the Haitian gang 400 Mawozo while traveling by car northeast of capital city Port-au-Prince . An infant, a 3-year-old and a 6-year-old, as well as two young teenagers were part of the hostages.
Authorities in the US and Haiti have not publicly commented on whether any of the hostages were released.
