UK has refused to grant visa to Sheikh Rashid

According to sources in Islamabad, the British Embassy has refused to issue a visa to Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.

However, a spokesman for the British High Commission has declined to comment due to the sensitivity of the issue.

Home Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has visited the UK several times before.

As per reports, Sheikh Rashid had sent his passport to renew his visa through the Foreign Office on Wednesday after his visa expired, but the British embassy refused to grant him a visa.
