Kabhi Kabhie
This 1976 film featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Rakhee, Shashi Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, Rishi Kapoor, and Neetu Singh in the lead was a perfect mix of human emotions especially the beautiful feeling of love. The premise of the movie was about two college love birds who were separated as their lives took different routes due to circumstances, but the two found themselves reunited after their kids found love in each other. The movie was a musical romantic drama and was a massive hit at the box office.
Chandni
This was yet another romantic musical film by Yash Chopra which featured Sridevi, Rishi Kapoor, and Vinod Khanna in the lead. Chandni very accurately depicted the emotions of a girl who was in love with her man until destiny played a cruel game and turned their lives upside down. Not only does Chandni highlight the selflessness of a woman, but it also displays her strength to overcome every obstacle coming her way. Rishi Kapoor and Sridevi’s sizzling chemistry in the movie made it all the more unforgettable.
Darr
In this movie by Yash Chopra, the villain managed to outshine the lead actor. Sunny Deol and Juhi Chawla appeared as the lead protagonists in the movie, and Shahrukh Khan was cast as the lead antagonist. The movie followed the story of a crazy lover (stalker) who takes extreme measures to get his girl. However, Yash Chopra was so talented that although the handsome villain scared the audience, they were still swooned away by his charm.
Dil Tou Pagal Hai
Another phenomenal musical drama film by Yash Chopra featuring Shahrukh Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Madhuri Dixit in the lead, reinstated our belief in true love. This 1997 release not only portrayed friendship in a beautiful way but also taught its audience that someone somewhere is made for you.
Veer Zaara
India and Pakistan have had strained relationships from the start, through this cross-border love story featuring Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta, Yash Chopra managed to win millions of hearts. The movie told us a story of unconditional love, it was all about the sheer feeling of love.
