RAWALPINDI: According to reports, the Indian Army opened fire in Chakri sector and deliberately targeted the population. The army responded to the firing of Indian forces.
Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Babar Iftikhar said on social networking site Twitter that the Indian Army had once again targeted the population in violation of the Line of Control (LoC).

The DG ISPR said that the firing was carried out by the Indian Army in the Chakri sector and deliberately targeted the civilian population.
An elderly woman resident of Karni village was injured as a result of firing by Indian forces. The Pakistani army responded to the firing of Indian forces.
Major General Babar Iftikhar said that so far this year, Indian forces have violated the ceasefire agreement 1,643 times.
