Update on JUI-F Azadi March Turnout

ISLAMABAD (2nd Nov, 2019): Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman is holding a Azadi March against government in Islamabad.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, activists of opposition parties are also participating in the Azadi March but major number is of students of Madrasa and workers of JUI-F. Maulana Fazlur Rehman has claimed that a sea of humans is sitting in Islamabad.

Be clear that, the number of participants in the Azadi March is still contradictory. Some journalists have claimed that PTI and PAT could have managed to bring out just 10 percent of this crowd in 2014 dharna.

Reportedly, independent sources say 80,000 people are attending the march while police say the number of participants is 45,000. On the other hand, the ruling party (PTI) claimed that there only 22,000 to 25,000 participants in Fazlur Rehman’s march.

Moreover, sources of Baaghi TV have claimed that there are 40,000 participants in Azadi March.
