US Ambassador in Pakistan Donald Blome visits Gomal Zam Dam

The US ambassador in Pakistan #AmbBlome visited the Gomal Zam Dam on Tuesday.

In a tweet, the US Embassy said that with $130 million of U.S. funding, the dam has provided enough electricity for more than 20,000 homes.

“The dam has also expanded agricultural production on 191,000 acres for local farmers, controlling potential flood damage from impacting more than 30,000 households, and dramatically increasing Pakistan’s water storage capacity, ” he added.
