Lahore, 19th August: The American blogger Cynthia D Ritchie was mysteriously found unconscious at her residence in Islamabad and was immediately rushed to a hospital.
According to details, the US blogger and journalist Cynthia D Ritchie was taken to a hospital after she was found unconscious at her apartment in Islamabad on Thursday
According to reports from Geo News, police officials confirmed that Ritchie was shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. they added that further details will emerge after the doctors issue her medical report.

While reports from ARY News stated that police disclosed Ritchie was brought to the hospital by her neighbor. However, Ritchie’s statement is yet to be recorded once she gets conscious.
Meanwhile, sources have revealed that Cynthia D Ritchie’s condition is improving and she is out of danger. A team of doctors has examined her and they will decide when to discharge her from the hospital.
Sources have also disclosed that the doctors will further conduct a toxicology test to ascertain whether Cynthia was poisoned or not. Hence, they have collected her samples to conduct the test that will be sent to the forensic agency in Lahore.
Cynthia D. Ritchie to remain in Pakistan, court orders
It is to be noted that the American blogger Cynthia D Ritchie is working on different film projects while staying in Pakistan on an extended visa. She made headlines last year in June when she accused PPP leader and former interior minister Rehman Malik of raping her.
She also alleged that the ex-prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani had physically manhandled her a couple of years ago.
According to reports, both Malik and Gillani had refuted the claims made by Cynthia and said that it was a plot to malign the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
