LAHORE: Commissioner Lahore Captain (r) Muhammad Usman has handed over today one hundred thousand packed Covid masks letter to the Deputy Post Master General Punjab, Dr Anwar Kharal, under Lahore wears mask campaign to dispatch, free of cost, to Lahorites.
Covid masks packed in post letters with Covid preventive measures awareness message, will be dispatched to citizens as per addresses provided by LESCO to Commissioner Lahore Office. Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Usman said that imported, wash able Covid masks would also be given to Mosques, Churches, Public markets, Government departments, Government and private education institutes to save the citizens. He announced that 7.8 m masks had reached Lahore and 7 million were also reaching Lahore. He said that to reach every door, more avenues were also being knocked to give covid mask blanket to citizens. Commissioner Lahore also gave masks for PMG office employees. Deputy PMG, Dr Anwar Kharal said that Pakistan Post Office would go a long way to serve the noble cause of saving their society and they welcomed the partnership for providing masks free of cost to each door. At the moment Additional Commissioner Aman Anwer Qidvai, ACg Usman Jalees and other officers of PMG and commissioner offices were also present.
