Lahore, 18h Apil: The police DSP who has been injured by the banned organisation has delivered a message through social media.

Baaghi TV: DSP Nawan Kot Umar Farooq has sent out a video message requesting the authorities that if the matter between the government and banned organization has been solved amicably, why is this unrest been carried out.

There are reports of severe clashes between the TLP workers and police at Yateem Khana Chowk Lahore on Sunday.

According to Baaghi TV’s report, activists of Tehreek-e-Labbaink, the proscribed organization have carried out severe clashes against the police personnel, injuring many and have kept four police officers hostage.

Umar Farooq said in his video message that we are Muslims and so are the others. There is no difference between us and them. Then why are we killing each other?

DSP Umar Farooq, who was critically injured at the hands of banned party workers, appealed to the people and authorities to resolve the issue soon.

He reiterated that we should not harm each other because in such cases the enemy can easily take advantage. Therefore, it is requested to resolve the issue by adopting peace, so we can avoid further damage.
