Web series ‘Churails’ suffers a hitch
Lahore, 7th October: Famous Pakistani web series ‘Churails’ is banned in Pakistan after facing controversies.
According to Baaghi TV, web series ‘Churails’ has been banned in Pakistan after it’s dialogues went viral on social media a couple of days back.
Pakistani senior actress Hina Bayat who acted in the series delivered a monologue that went viral a few days back on social media. People created quite an uproar and demanded PEMRA to ban the series.
Hina Bayat’s sexual dialogues put PEMRA under question
However, PEMRA has got nothing to do with this series as it is being on-aired by an Indian online channel Zee5. The drama is quite a hit across the border.
‘Churails’ deals with societal issues presented in a bold manner that may be hard to digest by the Pakistani audience, but the drama has been an instant hit since it released in August.

All the four leading ladies Sarwat Gilani, Yasra Rizvi, Mehar Bano and Nimra Bucha became the shining stars as their acting skills were highly appreciated.
A couple of days ago a dialogue from ‘Churails’ went viral in which Hina Khawaja Bayat is talking about her way to success which was really not a thing that anyone wants to hear on Television.
Hina Bayat who is playing the role of Yasra Rizvi’s mom in the series delivers quite bold and vulgar dialogues in one of the scenes.
She said: “I used to give a hand job twice a day to my boss who was 20 years older than me. After this, he gave me a job and after giving several more jobs, he gave me a promotion.”
