Weightlifting and Muscle Strength: What is the connection?
Islamabad (18th Feb, 2020): According to a recent scientific study, reducing the amount of weight lifted for exercise may help to improve performance. The research team believes that performance can be improved if the amount of weight lifted during exercise is reduced. Their reasoning being that the “velocity-based training” [VBT] helps to improve muscle fatigue. According to the researchers at the University of Lincoln, weightlifters can enhance their performance by a range of measurement that vary as per amount of weight they lift during their training and exercise sessions, respectively. They stress that for athletes, these types of exercises are extremely vital, especially for those who rely primarily on muscle strength.
