What is JKT doing in London?

London, 14th July: Jahangir Khan Tareen (JKT) is reportedly seeing a doctor, and not holding political meetings in London.

Murtaza Ali Shah, a senior journalist pens down JKT’s recent activities in London in his article published in The News today.

According to his article, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s senior leader Jahangir Khan Tareen remains holed up in his Hampshire country home five weeks after arriving here from Pakistan in a chartered plane – immediately after the publication of Sugar Commission report.

As per previous reports by Baaghi TV, PTI’s senior leader Jahangir Khan left Pakistan after the Sugar commission report was made public by the PTI government. Ever since then, sources have revealed that the PTI stalwart has not held any political meetings in the last six weeks.

A credible source close to the journalist Murtaza Shah has disclosed that Tareen after arriving at his country home some 60 miles out of London, has made four trips to London to visit his physician in Central London.

Sources have revealed that the people for PTI in the UK and other parties have sent messages to Tareen for meetings but he has shunned meeting politicians to avoid getting into the news for the wrong reasons.

It is said that Tareen has preferred to stay low key and is availing the lockdown period to focus on his health only.

As per previous reports, Jahangir Tareen once had cancer and has recovered successfully, but still needs regular checkups from London.

It is also speculated that Tareen is suffering from some other serious ailment, which is not being disclosed by the source. Jahangir Tareen is said to be under treatment for the illness unknown which needs proper medical attention of a specialist in London.

There were reports that Jahangir Tareen had contacted the PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif in London, which was, however, denied by Tareen. Two leaders of PTI in the UK confirmed that they had requested for a meeting with the former PTI General-Secretary, but he declined the invitation.

Sources have confirmed that Tareen has, however, met with two of his friends from the business community. They are well-reputed businessmen from Pakistan who have been in London for the last two months.
