When the world suddenly closes down on you

I discovered lately that a friend of mine was affected with COVID-19. His only son had fallen victim shortly afterwards now both struggling, and battling to overcome the trauma, the fright and paranoia.  Today early morning I received his son’s call, and to my horror, his father was having problems in breathing and needed to be rushed to a hospital. Later in the morning, they landed at Farooq hospital. Probably the Aitchisonian connection worked. He is breathing but through an oxygen cylinder. I was aghast to see his x ray. Partially it has whitened. His very life, is now hanging by a thread. I am traumatized doing all I can to save my friend’s life.
