Baaghi TV: When will the educational institutions open across the country? The decision will be taken in the inter-provincial education ministers conference to be held today under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood.
The meeting will consider a proposal to open primary schools from January 25 and middle schools from February 4. The proposal to hold board exams in late May or early June will also be discussed. According to the Ministry of Education, the final decision will be made after considering the situation of Corona virus in Pakistan.
On the other hand, according to the latest figures from the National Command and Operations Center, 39 people have died from the corona virus. After which the death toll rose to 10,350. The number of confirmed cases of Corona in Pakistan has reached 488,529.
During the last 24 hours, 1,895 new cases were reported, one lakh 40,714 in Punjab, 218,597 in Sindh, 59,484 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 18,247 in Balochistan and 4,867 in Gilgit-Baltistan. 38,263 cases were reported in Abad while 8,357 cases were reported in Azad Kashmir.
So far 68,49,867 people have been tested across the country, 30,139 new tests have been done in the last 24 hours, so far 438,974 patients have recovered while the condition of 2,242 patients is critical.
In Pakistan, 39 people died in one day from Corona, bringing the death toll from the virus to 10,350. 4,124 patients lost their lives in Punjab, 3,611 in Sindh, 1,675 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 428 in Islamabad, 185 in Balochistan, 101 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 226 in Azad Kashmir.
