Woman Loses Job After Boss Catches Her on TV
Euro Cup: British woman, Nina Farooqi, took a leave of absence with the excuse of illness but went to watch a football match instead, wherein her boss caught her on TV, which resulted in her losing her job.
According to reports, the 37-year-old while attending the semi-final between England and Denmark for the Euro Cup appeared on TV where her boss saw her. After this, he called Farooqi and informed her that she had been let go from her job.
The woman said that due to work in the office, she couldn’t go to watch the match, so she thought of going to watch it on the pretext of illness.
She thought that no one would be able to see her in the presence of thousands of spectators and she could get away with the excuse but, her luck took a turn for the unfortunate.
It should be noted that the match between England and Denmark stood at a tie with a 1-1. The match was decided in extra time, where the English captain scored a goal to bring his team victory.
