RAWALPINDI, June 30 (APP): The Punjab government has taken initiative for women by starting the women income generation and self reliance project through which the women can get employment close to their homes.
The project has been prepared for the 9 districts of the province including Rawalpindi.
Rs 1.25 billion has been allocated for this project. This project will start simultaneously in Rawalpindi and other districts Multan, Sargodha, Vehari, Chiniot, Pak Pattan, Khanewal andOkhara.
Under this project the women of the families who are living below poverty line will be imparted skill and employment chances will be provided to them.
Every woman can earn 10 to 15 thousand rupees monthly under this project.
