A high-level delegation of the World Bank has reportedly praised the efforts of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), amidst the withdrawal of the United States and other forces from Afghanistan.  According to reports, they thanked the efforts of PIA in evacuating World Bank members from Kabul. The delegation which was led by Director Strategy included heads of the World Bank chapters from Pakistan and Afghanistan.  On the occasion, the World Bank delegation presented shields to CEO Air Marshal (retd) Arshad Malik and the Afghanistan flight crew.
