World Leaders Congratulate Erdogan for Win
Many world leaders congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his win in the run-off election, in which he secured more than 52%, beating his top rival Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. Erdogan was congratulated by Afghan political leaders including members of the interim government. Islamic Emirate Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his win in the runoff election.
