According to a Baaghi TV report, Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he has started three major measures for the protection of society.
The people of this nation have a lot of philanthropic spirit. He said when people realize that their money is being spent in the right way, they are willing to give donations with an open heart. There were lock-downs due to corona. We went into lockdown due to which the service sector took a big hit. The situations of Europe and Wuhan are different to ours. If the provinces had asked me for advice I would never have allowed such a lockdown.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that in a country like the USA, people are standing in long queues to receive charity. There was a lot of criticism but thankfully I was heeded. Deserving citizens are receiving help through the corona relief fund. Such a big amount was transparently distributed in a short time. During the lockdown, the hungry would descend upon those who entered their area in desperation. I still don’t understand why the small shops were shut down in Sindh.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that even before corona we had arranged shelter and food for those who sleep on the streets. People were sleeping in the streets of Islamabad in the winter. I ask the Parliamentarians to visit the shelter homes, eat with their dwellers, and ask them how they are. If today our situation isn’t as bad as India’s, one reason for it is the Ehsaas Programme. We will reassure the people that their money is being spent in the right place.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that there is no politics in the Ehsaas Programme, and it continues in a transparent fashion. Deserving people are receiving help transparently through the Ehsaas Programme. The purpose of the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund is to help the jobless.
