Lahore, 29t August: Young Doctors and students have postponed the protest against the National Licensing Exam (NLE), giving the authorities 24 hours to approve their demands.
Young Doctors have once again protested against the National Licensing Examination (NLE) outside Examination Center near Sapphire Hall in Lahore’s Barkat Market Sunday morning.

According to the details, the protesters said that if the demands are not met, they may consider closing the OPDs, which will continue till their demands are approved.

The protestors also claim that if their demands are not heard within 24 hours, they will continue a sit-in outside the PMC hospital in Islamabad, which will continue till the demands are approved.
On the other hand, police officials say that after the postponement of protests, students and Young doctors have dispersed and regular traffic is now opened for all.

It is to be noted that the young doctors have again gathered outside the examination center today to protest against the National Licensing Examination (NLE). The heavy contingent was deployed since morning while barriers and barbed wire were also installed outside the examination center.
Doctors and students blocked the road from Barkat Market to Kalma Chowk. While police also used pepper spray to disperse the protesters.
In the meantime, people on social media have strongly condemned the use of pepper spray by police against the protestors. According to reports, several doctors are under serious conditions as a result of the chemical spraying by police officials.
