YouTube, FaceBook, Twitter finally ‘restored’ in Pakistan
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Monday restored internet service along with social media applications across the country.
The internet service was shut down for almost a week following violent protests across the Punjab after arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on May 9.
The interior ministry, therefore, decided to shut down internet service across the country.
The shut down caused huge problems for people from all walks of life.
