Nov 3, 2021: Zahir Jaffer, the prime suspect in the Noor Mukadam murder case, was thrown out of an Islamabad sessions court for misbehaviour.

Zahir Jaffer, the main accused in the Noor murder case, was thrown out of the Islamabad Sessions Court on Wednesday for interfering and insulting a judge. Zahir was brought to the court under tight security. During the hearing, he repeatedly stopped the judge.

When the accused was warned, he started making inappropriate comments. Zahir said: “What is behind the scenes? We are waiting … What is behind the scenes?”

The judge immediately ordered police to take him out of the courtroom. He said that this is another act by Jaffer.

When police apprehended Zahir and took him out, he became enraged and attacked an officer. Then there were the sticks. Four policemen beat Zahir and locked him inside a court lockup.

On October 20, the Sessions Court began hearing the Noor Muqaddam murder case.

Earlier, 12 accused, including Zahir Jaffer, the main accused in the murder of 27-year-old Noor Muqaddam, were indicted.

The other accused include Zaheer’s parents Zakir Jaffer and Ismat Adam G, Zahir’s employees Muhammad Iftikhar, Jamil Ahmed and Muhammad Jan and CEO Tahir Zahoor and six employees of Therapy Works.
