Zahir Jaffer murder trial: Noor’s father appeals for a speedy conclusion
Sept 23, 2021: Noor Muqaddam’s father thanked the media and society who raised their voice for Noor and appealed to the courts to expedite justice and punish her killer, Zahir Jaffer.
Noor Muqaddam’s father thanked the media and all the people who raised their voice for Noor Muqaddam’s justice during the protest and appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan and the court to expedite the case.
Shaukat Muqaddam, ex ambassador of Pakistan to South Korea, appealed the court to not delay the proceedings and to hand out justice to Noor’s killer efficiently. He said the court should deal quickly and bring the culprit to justice and give justice to his daughter.
Noor Muqaddam’s father appealed to the people and the media to keep up the pressure so that Noor gets immediate justice. Noor’s father demanded the highest punishment for her killer Zahir Jafferand his accomplices and abettors.

He said that the mothers, sisters and daughters who are participating in this protest for justice of Noor want the culprit to be sentenced to death not only the killer but also all the elements involved in it. Get immediate punishment
“This case is being followed not only at the national level but also at the international level and wherever I have been an ambassador, voices are being raised about this case,” he said.
It should be noted that the bail case of Zakir Jaffer and Ismat Jaffer, the parents of Zahir Jaffer, was heard in the Islamabad High Court today.
Meanwhile, yesterday, during the hearing against Zahir Jaffer for the murder of Noor Muqaddam, the court today remarked that the Advocate General should come in person and give arguments himself.
The public prosecutor told the court that the bail application should be heard by a division bench instead of a single bench. Justice Amir Farooq remarked that if the challan was filed with the Additional Sessions Judge, how would the matter go to the division bench.
He asked under which law bail will go to division bench instead of single bench?
The judge said that if the notification of the special court has been issued, it should be presented and the Advocate General should come and give arguments himself in this high profile case.
If the plaintiff’s lawyer Shah Khawar is the Supreme Court, then the public prosecutor should be discussed. If the court of the Additional Sessions Judge has been given the status of a special court, then submit a notification.
On the other hand, the Islamabad High Court, while hearing the application of cancellation of bail of the employees of the therapy works in the Noor Muqadam murder case, gave respite to the lawyers to prepare the case. Additional Sessions Judge granted bail to six accused on bail bonds of Rs. 5.5 million who are accused of aiding and abetting Zahir Jaffer and have approached the Islamabad High Court for relief.
