Aug. 30, 2021: In the hearing of the Zahir Jaffer, who is under trial in Islamabad for the murder of Noor Muqaddam, the district and sessions court Islamabad has extended the judicial remand of main accused, Zahir Jaffer.

The court extended the judicial remand of the main accused Zahir Jaffer till September 6. The accused were brought to the court by the police on completion of 14-day judicial remand. The court extended the remand of the accused after the police requested for judicial remand. The accused will now be produced in court on September 7.

On the other hand, the challan of Noor-e-Muqaddam murder case has been completed. Islamabad police has declared Zahir Jaffer guilty and requested for death sentence. All the accused will be asked to be severely punished

The bail of Tahir Zahoor, Dilip Kumar, Samar Abbas, Abdul Haq and Amjad Mahmood, CEOs of Therapy Works, has been granted, which has been challenged by Noor Muqaddam’s father in the Islamabad High Court.

Zahir Jaffer and his parents are also in Adiala Jail on judicial remand. The court had rejected the bail application of Zahir Jaffer’s parents.
