Zalmay Khalilzad welcomes ceasefire announcement on Eid ul Azha
KABUL, July 29 (Online): US have welcomed announcement of 3-day ceasefire between Taliban and Afghan government on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha.
The US special representative for Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad while welcoming the ceasefire announcement in Afghanistan has appreciated the efforts for peace in Afghanistan from leadership of both sides besides praising their role.
He held we will move one step forward towards lasting peace on the occasion of this Eid ul Azha. Eid will unite all the Afghans together.
