ISLAMABAD: Baaghi TV reports a case of animal killing at a zoo in Islamabad. The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued a contempt of court notice to Climate Change Minister Zartaj Gul. Contempt of court show cause notices were also issued to members of the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board. The Secretary Climate Change told the court that he accepted responsibility for the incident. Cabinet members have nothing to do with it. Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Athar Manullah remarked that the Cabinet had approved the Wildlife Board and it was also responsible. The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected the Deputy Attorney General’s plea not to issue show cause notice. Secretary Climate Change Naheed Durrani was also issued a contempt of court show cause notice. At the last hearing, contempt of court proceedings were decided against Minister of State Zartaj Gul and Special Assistant Amin Aslam. The Islamabad High Court had sought the names of those responsible from the federal government. The court had summoned the Secretary, Ministry of Climate Change and Chairman Wildlife Board in person yesterday.
