Shop On Wheels: Govt’s plan for the unemployed youth

Lahore, 1st October: Pakistan Government is all set to launch ‘Shop On Wheels’ opportunity for the unemployed youth of the country.
According to reports, the government is going to launch this scheme to create employment opportunities for youth under its ambitious Kamyab Jawan Programme.
According to details, a meeting was held by Usman Dar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Youth Affairs and it was also attended by Chief Secretary Punjab and senior officials.

The meeting discussed the preparations for launching ‘Shop on Wheels’ project across the country. The small business project will be launched under the banner of ‘Successful Youth Program’. The meeting approved commencing the registration process of the scheme initially in Punjab.
Special Assistant Usman Dar said that under the scheme, less educated youth would be given the opportunity of private business, special vehicles designed instead of carts and stones would be provided.
He said that the federal government would provide loan for the purchase of a car and the youth would be able to get small but decent jobs. The scope of the project will be phased out across the country.
